Inside Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage superior customer relationships
• Maintain effective and professional internal interdepartmental relationships
• Prepare and process quotes, enter orders, and expedite shipments
• Understand East Coast Tube's pricing and marketing strategy
• Uphold an expertise on East Coast Tube's capabilities and product offerings, with the ability to promote new sales initiatives
• Contact potential sales leads
• Work with the outside sales team on gathering and triangulating market intelligence
• Coordinate a response on quality claims or problems that arise on orders and shipments
• Assist management with special projects as required
• Provide back-up for other inside sales representatives
• Project professionalism in representing the organization, internally and externally

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree required, with studies in business, information systems or logistics preferred
• 3+ years of sales experience. Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sales are preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills - verbal and written
• Leadership ability
• Excellent mathematical aptitude and organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook - Office365
• Experience in CRM Software Systems is an asset
• Ability to make sound decisions and prioritize multiple tasks amid dynamic timelines
• Ability to work closely with Technical, Shipping, Logistics, Planning, and Manufacturing teammates
• Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
